That depends very much on both the quality of the wine and the conditions in which it is standing.
It must not be too warm - or too cold - humidity makes a difference and basically that is all quite complicated! I think three days is about average, most wines should manage that well.

I can't remember ever seeing a bottle in my home that wasn't emptied inside a couple of hours, however, we did have a few ropey old bottles of plonk that I ended up using for cooking, the red wine fared better than the white, I'd stoppered them and put them in the fridge and by a week later the white was vinegar but the red took another week before it was cloudy and unusable.
