« on: 02 July, 2011, 12:35:00 PM »
Hi all! I am new here and perhaps this is not the fait topic to post the perplexity that I have, but maybe someone will still manage to explain me! To apply for a visa, an invitation to Russia is mandatory. Suggests the invitation to Russia have to be confirmed by a licensed Russian circuit operators. Visas for Russia will always need official invitations?

This link gives information on obtaining a visa to visit Russia.
It depends on the reason for the visit but you don't actually need to know/be related to an individual in Russia who could personally invite you.
