During my last year at High School [1955] I took a summer job at this ice-cream factory, moving products in & out of the cold rooms. I was intrigued by the roof-top equipment so I and another student climbed a ladder to the roof. As I was about to climb back down the ladder, he pulled it away from the roof-edge [a joke] so I jumped back only to see that I was going to land on a sky-light! How I managed to jump on & off the glass I donít know, but the glass simply broke & fell down into a washroom below.

Phew! Lucky no glass got into the ice cream. Anyone for  Nielsen's new crunchy ice cream?
