Edmund I was his father...and his mum was a saint...St Elgiva.

Edwy All-Fair aka Eadwig was the eldest son of King Edmund  I.

Had a short reign (just four years) from 955 until he popped his clogs in 959 and he spent most of those years squabling with his relatives. Typical royalty even back then.
