Lipstick and Satanism?
« on: 18 October, 2016, 08:51:21 PM »

Earlier today, a friend astounded me. He said that there was a law passed in Britain that banned lipstick - and that women wearing lipstick were accused of being witches!

What's more, he said that this wasn't way back in the Dark Ages, it was as recently as the 18th century right here in Britain. He said all of this with a totally straight face. But it all sounds more than a trifle dodgy to me.

Was he telling porkies? Or was he telling me the truth? What sort of punishment could those trollopy wenches expect to get given?
