Can genetic engineering produce a super breed of cows?
« on: 06 October, 2015, 03:30:03 PM »
I've read somewhere that there's a Dutch company (called Genepharming or something) that has managed to breed a herd of cows that produce a drug which can prevent sickness in babies.

To get the wonder drug you simply milk the cow.

And that started me wondering.

If scientists can breed cows to produce drug-flavoured milk, can they breed cows that give chocolate milk?

Instant chocolate milk! Think what a boon that'd be to humanity!

Is there anything to prevent it becoming a reality?
