This would be great to use for my essay, as it supports my view of pre-programmed personality.
Unfortunately it's a horribly written newspaper article that makes no mention of who did the study, when, what was involved, etc.  Not even a reference.  Any help would be much appreciated.

Sorry I didn't read it properly; it does say Professor Venneri in the University of Hull did the study.  But I still need help to find a proper article about the study, because I've been Googling, and not come up with much.
Thanks!

Try using google scholar search, rainy.

It cuts out lots of non-essential rubish and only finds articles etc from journals.

Might be on the author's website, or you could email her:

http://psy.hull.ac.uk/Staff/a.venneri/

The final item in her publication list is:
"Gardini S, Cloninger CR, Venneri A: Individual differences in personality traits reflect structural variance in specific brain regions.  Brain Research Bulletin, in press"

but there doesn't seem to be a corresponding scientific publication, which greatly reduces its value as a reference, imho. I wouldn't be surprised if Gardini & Cloninger are her students, but they're not on the list of folks registered at Hull, so it's also possible they're collaborators from another institution.

Thanks Siasl.  I had gone that exact route: her website and looked for that last article.  But I was wondering if "in press" means not yet published?  Because otherwise they would have put in the date, I would have thought.
