Title: Why do chickens have wings and a tail when they donít even fly?
Post by: P-Kasso2 on 15 June, 2017, 08:13:43 PM

Chickens aren't exactly aerodynamic, are they? But were chickens in the wild different way back in time? Could they fly? When did chickens give up flying? And will they eventually all end up wingless? And tail-less?

Sorry Siasl. You call that flying? It's not even a g l i d e. It's more of a controlled suicide leap. I call this flying....

Ever seen a chicken do this?

it's not graceful, I admit, but there is a distinct upwards bit towards the end, so counts as flying, in my book :)
