Now, I love mint and I grow four or five types types because I love its refreshing taste. Even in cocktails it adds a cooling touch. Try adding mint to a long glass of sherry over ice and you'll see what I mean.

I reckon it must be some kind of natural chemical or two in mint that does it. Menthol or something?

Just what is it in mint that makes it seem so ‘cooling’?
